About
Jamie Murphey
I am a southern transplant, harbored in NYC since 2006. I earned my BFA in painting while running an eco-friendly cleaning business, & have worked in business development & marketing since graduation. While earning an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch in NYC, I began providing freelance marketing and design services with a focus on digital media.
I am particularly enthused by futuristic tech (3D printing, longevity), pure research and theoretical science (Higgs Boson, ToE), the mindful and elegant use Big Data, the vital economic value of girls, and yoga. I visit my favorite yoga studio every day.
I am most often spotted in the wilds of the city, perched over my little mac, blogging and tweeting and staring into space. I read like I eat (voraciously), and I am always looking for a great book and amazing salted chocolate.
